S.K.I.T.S (Supreme Knowledge Is The Source) was raised in Throggsneck Projects in the Bronx. At the young age of 8, he moved with his father who lived in "Money Earnin Mount Vernon". The move was due to drug epedimic that hit home with his mother. Very intelligent academically, but was associated with the wrong crowd, and as a teenager moved back to Throggsneck to finish highschool. He picked up Hip Hop at the age of 12, and it proved to be thereaputic for him. At the age of 17 he lost his best friend(T.E.C) to violence, right in front of him. Carrying his friend to the hospital and watching him take his last breath, could of pushed him to go either way, negative or positive. He chose the positive route, because it was a dream that him and his friend shared.

 

Through out the years and since the tragic incident(1996-present) S.K.I.T.S has appeared on video music box with Crazy Sam and Funk Master Flex. He was in a group called the seventh sign, that Loud Records was interested in at the time but the deal fell through. When at the Loud records office, they mingled with Mobb Deep, who were at the peak of their career, and Havoc had open arms to the group. The group dismantled, due to lifes trial and tribulations, and then the group Standfirm came into existence consisting of S.k.i.t.s and S.c.u.m.  They released an album in June 2009, titled "The Lost Tapes" which can be downloaded for free on Datpiff.com keyword standfirm. They have appeared on Doghouse radio,Video City tv,Dj Green Lanterns mixtape and have won many awards on the internet website Garageband.com/standfirm. They have over 60,000 plays on their myspace music page.

 

Now S.k.i.t.s is working on his solo career,and his balchelor degree,(will be finished spring 2011) he is finally releasing his mixtape in early March 26th 2010, hosted by Superior of Most Hated Ent and Dj Moeskieno of Shadyville Djs. The mixtape will be released online and in stores. With plans of touring in the near future, and 10,000 cds sold to date, this will be one of many Big projects coming from StandFirm Ent.
